Requirements
Caregiver requirements.
To keep clients safe and supported, every caregiver meets the following standards.
- Background check required
- TB testing required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living
- Completion of Silver Nest caregiver training program
- Dementia care certification required for dementia-care assignments
Prepared before your first shift.
Before your first assignment, you’ll complete a structured onboarding program built around clinical best practices and real-world caregiving.

- Client safety training
- Care plan review procedures
- Behavioral care techniques and de-escalation strategies
- Ongoing mentorship and supervision
